A Fine Unissued Lithograph Print for a Board Game, 33½ x 24½ ins. 85.5 × 62.5 cm. including the blank margins,
A Dutch board game produced at the time of the Anglo-Boer War. There are two soldiers, one British the other a Boer. The object of the game is for the contestants , having thrown dice, to move their positions and arrive first in either in Cape Town for the Boers, or in Pretoria for the British. The term "Rooinek" refer to the British "Red Necks" of their uniforms or their sunburnt necks.
