TEBB (William)
TEBB (William) The Recrudescence of Leprosy and its Causation,  A Popular Treatise, ...with an Appendix,  1893
some occasional spotting, Presentation Copy, Inscribed on the half title to "John Bickle Esq With the Author's kind regards",
The author, who travelled extensively in his study of this disease, boasts no medical qualifications. He studied this disease visiting Asia Minor, South Africa, India, the West Indies, Hawaii, Australia and Madeira. His "popular Treatise" is a remarkable work for an amateur who has collated information on the subject from all over the world, much of which obtained at first hand. His thesis is that of the Anti-Vaccinator. His previous venture into print was about Compulsory Vaccination in England, and his later work on the macabre Premature Burial and How to Prevent it.
